Season 2, Episode 8: Pulling from Python | Jesper Kær Sørenson

Welcome to the LabVIEW Experiment, turning LabVIEW Developers into LabVIEW Experts,
one episode at a time! We believe in the idea that failure is a step in the process to become successful.

What are we discussing today?

Jesper has worked as a Systems Engineer at GPower since 2017. He has worked with various projects for testing customer projects, most under NDA. Jesper builds software in LabVIEW, Teststand and Python. Additionally he is the product owner and main supporter of our Expression Parser product at GPower.

Before this position he worked with methanol based high temperature Fuel Cells first building FAT systems for the fuel cell stacks then as part of the Danish Maritime Authority Delegation working on improving the rules for maritime fuel cells at the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

In his spare time, Jesper is part of the GCentral Board of Directors, working in the G Idea Exchange committee under GCentral where he is the secretary and team lead.

He presented about how to Better Design Icons at GDevCon#4 in Glasgow, and is currently experimenting with writing articles on LinkedIn.

In this episode Sam and Jesper talk about how we can use what we’ve learned in LabVIEW to make better code in Python, and vice versa.
